Greetings!

I purchased all three of these

Step 1 - Deep Crystal System Paint Cleaner
Step 2 - Deep Crystal System Polish
Step 3 - Deep Crystal System Carnauba Wax

I have seen on other posts that some of you guys use these products. Can you share with me which you use and how you do it?

Thanks

Mike

I use 7 and 9. Swirl remover and glaze. Last two steps of course.

Before that you buff Nitro at least with two Menzerna bars after having wet sanded to 1200 grit.

I use 3M Rubbing Compound instead of one of the Menzerna's but am considering switching because the 3M is wet and messy.

The Meguiars I use are done by hand and polishing cloths.

I have used them since 1988 when I first started repair. Be aware that their number system is counter intuitive. Their number system does'nt correlate with with the level of coarseness of grit.

Good products though (I think, anyhow, but I've not used a lot of different products...)

I just finished polishing my second guitar. Finish is McFadden's spray lacquer. I wet sanded up to 1200, then used Meguiar's #2 Fine-cut Cleaner, followed by #9 Swirl Remover. I used a variable speed auto-body polisher with a foam pad. The polishing went great . I can see that I was not careful enough in moving up through the grades. I have some isolated scratches still showing up, but that's not from the polishing.
